I Love You Enough

I Love You Enough...

Romance - Original Art by Lola Jones by Lola Jones

I love you enough... make it as easy as I know how. see you as you really are, as your Large Self -- not as broken or in need of fixing or healing.
... to shake you up at times. want you to become your own teacher, guide, and guru. refuse to let you become dependent on me. keep telling you it's about joy and freedom, not working on yourself, until your self worth is finally realized.

I love you enough... keep finding new ways to say it until everyone who truly wants to get it, gets it. urge you to flout your magnificence when ancient texts tell you to be humble, meek, and dim your light. show you your power instead of doing it for you. hope you'll come to the website or events to visit, play, and celebrate once you're free, just because you want to, not because you need to anymore.

I love you enough... tell you the truth, when you may not want to hear it because it's not what you're used to hearing. tell you when what you've been hearing is BS. tell you this newsletter (or any newsletter) won't do you any permanent good unless you do something, commit, and go for it. say 'no' when I know it won't serve you. support myself well so I can be here full time to do this work properly. devote my life to Divine Openings. I have to laugh here, because there is not one ounce of sacrifice involved. It is pure joy and ease. I love you enough live this wonderful life, and hold that vibration for you till choose to let it in for yourself!
I love you that much, because you are me in disguise.

I was inspired to write the above while at the beach, reading the amazing work of Hafiz, 14th century mystic, sufi master, teacher, and poet who was centuries ahead of his time. I could so relate to Hafiz's awareness of how tough a teacher has to be sometimes to help people get to their authentic truth. And I am glad that (most) people thank me for it, after the hairballs are coughed up (grin).

Here is one of Hafiz's poems. He calls God the Beloved.  "Drunken" refers to spiritual ecstasy:

Tired Of Speaking Sweetly
Love wants to reach out and manhandle us,
Break all our teacup talk of God.
If you had the courage and
Could give the Beloved His choice, some nights,
He would just drag you around the room
By your hair,
Ripping from your grip all those toys in the world
That bring you no joy.
Love sometimes gets tired of speaking sweetly
And wants to rip to shreds
All your erroneous notions of truth.
That make you fight within yourself, dear one,
And with others,
Causing the world to weep
On too many fine days.
God wants to manhandle us,
Lock us inside of a tiny room with Himself
And practice his dropkick.
The Beloved sometimes wants
To do us a great favor:
Hold us upside down
And shake all the nonsense out.
But when we hear
He is in such a "playful drunken mood"
 Most everyone I know
Quickly packs their bags and hightails it
Out of town.

From The Gift, Daniel Ladinsky's translation of Hafiz's best works. It's an excellent book to give as a gift.
I love you enough do whatever it takes.
