God List

I wrote a God List yesterday, I asked for a job and today I got one. I used to do office work but haven't worked for the whole year due to personal career crisis and breakup and sever depression. I am a musician who wants to perform and want a record deal which I put on my God list too, but also a job for now till i get there. Its an office job for Transoceans which is an oil rigg and seems interesting. I am trusting its from God even though it's nothing to do with music... How is everyones God lists going?

God List help

I still haven´t made out my God list yet, always think about it though...Maybe it´s ´cos I have never really known what it is i want, anyone have any ideas as to how to know what one really wants? Can you keep adding to the God list? Or how should we go about it?Once we figure out what we really want that is...Say it´s more money? is that what you should put on the list? " I want more money? or should i phrase it differently? This probably sounds silly, but, I guess as a child I was never really asked what I wanted so, I guess I have just have kept up this childish habit, sometimes i do feel like I have never really grown up and want everyone else to think for me, does that make sense? Hope someone gets what I´m trying to say and maybe have an opinion.... Would love some help with my God list though!!!!! See, there i go again, wanting someone else to help me........LoL

musical musings...

Well, I'm not too bothered about a record deal (though it'd be fab to have someone footing the bill for all the pressing costs, arranging gigs, etc), as it seems that nowadays, what you gain in exposure or publicity with major labels, you lose in creative control. The latter is most dear to my heart. I've always sung and composed songs, it's as natural to me as breathing. I imagine you would say the same ;) As for my aspirations, I'm quite flexible. I am happy to wait and see what God has in store for me, I know it's going to be better than anything I could imagine. My sound-world is quite cinematic (or at least I like to think so!), so I'd love for my music to be used in films. At the moment, I have been offered a publishing deal by a company in London, & we're talking about the contract. That is *most definitely* Divine Work -- I handed it over, stayed happy, and everything's flowing!! My background/first love is traditional or folk music, but you might not hear that in many of my songs. My band is The Ambassadors of Sorrow, & you can check us out on MySpace if you're interested!
