Gifting "Things ..." to my pregnant hair dresser - Good?

This is the question - I have this amazing hairdresser to whom I would love to give a copy of the Things are Going Great ... She is such a talented young woman and is working very hard in her life to build a clientele in a new city (she's been unsettled for several years moving here and there and having had an extremely successful business in Winnipeg). She has just become pregnant and is celebrating becoming a mother again in her mid thirties with new love and teenaged son. I haven't heard anything about being pregnant and doing Divine Openings. Could I please have feedback?

That's so funny Shelley because I specifically asked my husband before I started the book to make sure I wasn't being brainwashed! I even wrote up a list of signs to look for :-) It makes me laugh to think about it now but I really had no idea what to expect with DO! Happily, he has been loving the changes in me and in our household. He even said one day, "Whatever you're doing, whether it's Lola Jones or something else, KEEP DOING IT!" hee hee ... I don't know if he will ever do DO himself. He's been flying so high lately just because I am finally getting myself unstuck. :-) Wow, I guess I ended up raving about this ... I'm so grateful that you posted that thing about your partner! :-)

gifting the book

My partner keeps watching me to see if I'm going to grow a second head, easy for him to think as I'm a Gemini. Yet he does see results and although I've been seriously thinking of gifting him the book too, I think it would go better if he goes the usual route through the website. I wouldn't want to take any of his process away from him :)

Thank you for your feedback - you know how it goes with reading the book, sometimes you see it and sometimes you don't... that information must have gone in one eye and out the other without passing first through the brain ;)

Yes, what Nicole said is right! it says it in the first chapter "Pregnant women past the secomd trimester may not receive Divine Openings until after delivery."

Divine Openings during pregnancy is ok.

Hi Shelley- I was pregnant with my 3rd son when I first read Lola's book. I spoke with Lola and Divine Openings are ok until the 3rd trimester and then I needed to take a break. This was 2 years ago but I can't imagine the advice has changed. You can always email her.

My - oh - My - Raves from the Vancouver One Day

My oh My - what an adventure it was to have Lola come up to Vancouver for a one day event! It was wonderful!!!!!!!! Lola brought Crystal and Crystal brought her partner Dionne. The three of them were in stellar form the entire time they were here. Donna Wetterstrand joined us for the Friday night Intro. too. I partnered with a girlfriend Wind who lives in Vancouver in order to easily locate the perfect space for the One Day and because she is a true delight with whom to spend time. We added a book signing event on Thursday which really warmed us all up to the bliss Lola's presence brings - we laughed and laughed and .... The event was In White Rock, a city on the shores of Juan de Fuca Strait looking out over the bay to the great U.S.A. The weather was fine even with rain on Friday morning (it plumped the vegetation). For those of you who haven't had the opportunity to participate in one of these events this is an amazing way to go. Being on the other side of the event I can say that the value is extreme. The Friday night prepared ones for the Saturday by presenting some of the energy that Lola walks in, then Saturday was full on. We did questions and exercises and lunch and questions and THREE Divine Openings!!! and singing and questions and dancing and WOW what a day. After this day long event I can honestly say my inner knowing said ok now - relax and just breathe - no more input for a few days - that was enough for a while. Lola, Crystal, Dionne, Donna - THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart - I love you

Well, swelling in my knee has not returned since the healing. Just had my last day of physical therapy and my knee feels 75% better. What does this mean? You guessed it, no surgery (she was scheduled for knee surgery)!!! Yay me! Dinorah
