About Lola's Singing

All of Lola's life she's loved music, sang in the elementary school choir, huddled by the hifi as a teen, and more recently had the inspiration to really learn to sing. She so much wanted to sing you some Divine Openings. She had run into singing coach Guy Monroe, many times over several years, and his intriguing motto was "You can sing like the best singer you've ever heard".

Lola kept saying, "I'm gonna go see him one of these days." Well, the desire finally got so strong, she did it. That was over a year ago, and while there were several times when she almost quit (read article) she kept going because Guy made it so much fun and is such a loving, uplifting person to play with.

Lola was ecstatic when the songs got good enough to begin to share her progress with you. Now each week yields one new track that is not yet "perfect" by any means but that's powerful enough to give you some enjoyment, and a major Divine Opening. And Lola lets it "teach her what to do next" as she listens to it over and over.

Some may wonder why she's singing some songs
one might label heart rending. They are heart opening, because the Divine Opening in them takes it to a whole new dimension.

There's another factor that is purely for Lola's own enjoyment. Esther Hicks once mentioned that, for a while, she tried out being "Abraham" (the vast non-physical being she channels) all the time instead of just when she's channeling. She said after trying it, she didn't want to be that expanded all the time, because, in her words, "I missed the contrast". Well, when Lola first heard her say that years ago, she didn't understand. Why would anyone not want to fly at 40,000 feet all the time?

Now she understands, from experience of getting to that place where there was very little contrast. No drama, not a lot of challenges or problems. We came here deliberately to experience the entire range, the contrast of the whole Instrument Panel, the challenges, the stretches; and once you embrace it all, it's actually all good, and you no longer wish to be only in the higher realms. You love the dirt as much as the sky.

Now, years later, Lola knows from experience exactly what Esther meant. Lola flies at 40,000 feet a lot, but there's also pleasure and variety in dipping and diving and feeling it all -- the heat, the cold, the G-forces! Lola has practically no struggle and drama in her life anymore since Divine Openings, so she very deliberately uses the full range of emotional colors like paint on her pallette, to add endless variety, richness, and beauty (and yes, contrast) to her canvas of life. Melissa Cheney, a Divine Openings Giver in Houston, said she does a similar thing by reading dramatic novels (especially since she only needs two hours of sleep a night since Divine Openings!) She adds drama like seasoning, to taste.

PS - If you think it's impossible for you to sing well, or stop stuttering, lose your accent, or have a pleasing and powerful speaking style, click here. Listen to Mae's "before and after" audios on Guy's site. She had spasmodic dysphonia, often called "monster voice" -- a supposedly "incurable" voice disability, according to the medical profession.

Hear Mae sing like a songbird after 40 sessions, and you'll believe Guy's motto: "You can sing like the best singer you ever heard." Lola and Guy were in tears at this woman's self described "liberation from hell". She now speaks normally, and is singing more and more like a jazz pro!
